It was on August 22nd that Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles opened Okuda San Miguel’s new major solo exhibition, entitled «The new digital love«. Okuda’s first solo exhibition in Los Angeles since 2017, when Corey Helford hosted his first show in the United States, «Mayan renaissance«, «The new digital love» hosted in the main gallery a synthetic set of vibrant colors among paintings, sculptures, tapestries and the occasional surprise. In the artist’s own words, «this exhibition arose from the situation of emergency and confinement that we have all experienced. During this period, we have been given time to reflect on our lives and consider a new form of behavior«.
